Had a great time representing AFC at the Rapids Game Day 7v7 Co-Ed Tournament on May 10th—another awesome Colorado Volo event! We made it to the playoffs but unfortunately lost in PKs. Still, the team played incredibly well and brought great energy all day.
Got to experience a Rapids tailgate too—free food, drinks, and good vibes all around. Proud of the squad! 💪⚽🔥

KICK IT 3v3
A national organization that provides opportunities worldwide for small-sided soccer games. This summer, there are three exciting events in Colorado:
- Superior, CO - June 7th
- Colorado Springs, CO - June 14th
- Arvada, CO - June 21st
Grab your friends and form a team! While AFCTC won't be organizing the teams, we can assist by providing recommendations, tips for forming your team, and guidance on where to go for more details.

Apex Field House in Arvada is hosting a 3v3 Summer Soccer
Tournament for adult teams looking to enjoy fast-paced play, friendly
competition, and a shot at summer bragging rights. The tournament
features a 4-game guarantee, 3–6 player rosters, and divisions for
Men’s, Women’s, and Coed teams (with at least one female required
on the field at all times in Coed divisions). The entry fee is $225 per
team.

A one-day 8v8 tournament during Market Days weekend! Open to all skill levels, teams (max 15 players). Matches are anticipated run from 10 AM to 5 PM. Join us for a day of action, camaraderie, and celebration.

AFC Tournament Committee
REPRESENTING AFC AND DENVER IN LOCAL AND TRAVEL TOURNAMENTS
The AFC Tournament Committee (AFCTC) is responsible for providing opportunities and managing logistics to send AFC teams to participate in LGBTQIA+ tournaments across the U.S. and tournaments in Colorado. The committee actively seek exciting and engaging tournament options for both competitive and recreational teams, ensuring a diverse range of events for all skill levels.
AFCTC communicates directly with tournament organizers to negotiate participation details. This includes securing spots for AFC teams, understanding the logistics of the event, and ensuring that the tournament is aligned with the AFC’s values. The committee also ensures that teams are aware of the rules and requirements for each tournament, helping them prepare properly for competition, travel, and other practicalities.
