About Us
Altitude FC (AFC) is Denver, Colorado’s premier LGBTQIA+ soccer club. Founded in 2023, AFC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, registered in the state of Colorado, dedicated to promoting the growth of amateur soccer while fostering safe, inclusive spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies to connect and thrive through sports.
MISSION
Altitude FC's mission is to endorse the growth of soccer in the greater Denver area, facilitate a sense of community for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies by providing a venue for the play of soccer, and advance equity and equality for marginalized members of the community on and off the field through education, philanthropy, and normalizing diversity.
PURPOSE
Altitude FC operates to encourage players at all levels to participate and improve their skills through Club-sponsored clinics, practices, and scrimmages, participate in local league play, host and/or participate in national and international tournaments, and support and develop amateur athletes for said competitions.
